Philips introduced in the Russian market a new music stereo Wireless Music Center WACS7500 Streamium. The system can simultaneously play up to 6 different songs, as well as the transfer favorite music from room to room.

WACS7500 Streamium is made up of a central hub station and the satellite, which shall be communicated between the wireless protocols for Wi-Fi. Using Wi-Fi system also connects to a computer that allows you to transfer music into the 80GB hard disk or you can go online to listening radio online stations. Each device is equipped with 2 speakers, subwoofer and remote control, the total music power WACS7500 Streamium is 160 Watts.

Using such features as “My Room, My Music” and “music should be for me” the user can enjoy music anywhere in the house. Using the “My Room, My Music” each family member can choose a melody from the collections stored on your hard drive wireless music center. Further, technology allows simultaneous shared access to music on the station, connected to the center. One center Streamium can transfer music to 5 stations, providing an opportunity to play 6 different songs in six rooms at once. The function “Music to me” allows carry favorite music from room to room without having to restart the search and playback of a track. Turning in different parts of the house, the user can connect to the same channel. In addition, the feature allows you to transfer music simultaneously broadcast music from a central hub to the wireless stations in different parts of the house.

The system plays the formats MP3, WMA, PCM with the holders of CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3-CD, WMA-CD. The device takes FM radio and can store up to 50 radio stations. Philips WACS7500 appeared in the Russian market for the recommended retail price of 49,990 rubles (about US $1452).

It was August of 2007 when Orange first got all weird on Nokia over the then-wild concept of a manufacturer-owned and operated music store -- bear in mind the iPhone hadn't launched very widely at that time -- and look how far we've come. The two companies have just announced that the venerable Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will be available starting May 29 loaded up with Comes With Music, Nokia's all-you-can-eat service that brings endless downloadable tracks through its Music Store. In Orange's case, Comes With Music will be available on any of five special plans starting at £25 a month (about $38), meaning that you'll be able to nab music for the duration of your two-year contract. As long as DRM's in the mix, you're basically locked into your contract for as long as you want the definitive Bryan Adams collection that you've downloaded -- so we're hoping Nokia nixes that...

Musical bra The fine folks over at Instructables have posted some wild mods in their time, but the musical bra you see above inhabits its own realm in terms of weirdness and lack of usefulness... unless you really want a bra that makes music of course. The speaker is on the front, with a battery pack between the shoulder blades at the back, and each cup is equipped with eight different "sounds" culled from a small keyboard, which are triggered by custom-made buttons sewn into the bra. Fair warning: you're going to have to be pretty adept with needle and thread to get this project done, but the final result should be fairly priceless. After all, who doesn't want a clunky, hideous sports bra that makes noise? Exactly.
